Does UHF NEXUS work with active pickups?
Yes. UHF NEXUS works with active pickups, but very hot active or piezo outputs can overload the transmitter input. If that happens, lower the instrument volume slightly. If you want dedicated input-level control for active, piezo, or high-output instruments, SonikSphere NEO includes a built-in -10dB PAD.
How much latency does UHF NEXUS have?
UHF NEXUS has under 2 ms of end-to-end latency, so it is designed to feel immediate and natural while you play.
Will UHF NEXUS interfere with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?
UHF NEXUS operates on the 657-663 MHz UHF band, away from the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands commonly used by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other wireless gear.
How far can UHF NEXUS reach?
Open-air line-of-sight range is up to 165 ft / 50 m. Indoors, range is up to 100 ft / 30 m and can vary depending on walls, electronics, people, racks, and other obstacles between the transmitter and receiver.
How long does the UHF NEXUS battery last?
The transmitter and receiver each provide up to 6 hours of use per charge.
Can I plug the receiver into my pedalboard?
Yes. Plug the transmitter into your instrument and the receiver into your amp, pedalboard, or other normal 1/4" instrument input.
Can I use multiple UHF NEXUS systems at the same time?
Yes. Use separate color-coded channels for each NEXUS system to keep multiple wireless setups organized.
Can one receiver work with multiple transmitters?
Yes. One UHF NEXUS receiver can work with multiple NEXUS transmitters for quick instrument swaps. Power on only one transmitter at a time.
Can one transmitter send to multiple receivers?
Yes. One UHF NEXUS transmitter can send to multiple NEXUS receivers when they are set to the same channel.
Can I play while charging?
No. The transmitter and receiver cannot operate while charging.
Can I charge UHF NEXUS with USB-C to USB-C?
No. Use a 5V / 1A (5W) USB-A charger with the included USB-A to dual USB-C Y-cable. USB-C to USB-C charging is not supported.
Is UHF NEXUS compatible with SonikSphere NEO, Original SonikSphere, or CF-80?
No. UHF NEXUS transmitters and receivers work only with UHF NEXUS components and are not cross-compatible with other CFG wireless systems.

Can I use UHF NEXUS as a speaker cable replacement?
