Mount your wireless transmitter securely on your guitar strap
The Air-Pocket Transmitter Holster moves your wireless transmitter away from the instrument’s output jack and electronics, while keeping it protected and securely mounted on your strap.
On some instruments with active, piezo, or acoustic pickup electronics, placing a wireless transmitter directly beside the electronics can contribute to unwanted high-pitched noise or interference. Moving the transmitter farther away with the Air-Pocket can help reduce this type of proximity-related noise.
- Fits CFG UHF NEXUS, CF-80, Original SonikSphere, and SonikSphere NEO wireless transmitters.
- Mounts the transmitter securely on your guitar strap instead of leaving it exposed at the instrument’s output jack.
- Includes a 24-inch / 60 cm, 1/4-inch / 6.35 mm extension cable to connect your guitar or bass to the transmitter.
- Useful for recessed, crowded, or awkward instrument jacks where plugging the transmitter directly into the instrument is inconvenient.
- Helps protect the transmitter and reduce strain around the instrument’s output jack.
Important: The Air-Pocket can help with noise caused by transmitter proximity or awkward mounting, but it does not reduce a hot instrument signal. If an active, piezo, or high-output instrument is clipping or overloading the wireless input, SonikSphere NEO includes a built-in -10dB PAD for that purpose.
The top hook+loop flap can be looped through your strap’s buckle to help prevent slippage. Two hook+loop straps hold the Air-Pocket securely against the guitar strap, while the extension cable exits through the opening at the lower end of the holster.

Air-Pocket FAQ
What does the Air-Pocket do?
The Air-Pocket lets you mount your wireless transmitter securely on your guitar strap instead of leaving it plugged directly into the instrument. This helps protect the transmitter, reduces strain around the output jack, and moves the transmitter away from instrument electronics that may cause proximity-related noise.
Which CFG wireless systems does it fit?
The Air-Pocket fits CFG UHF NEXUS, CF-80, Original SonikSphere, and SonikSphere NEO wireless transmitters. The included 24-inch / 60 cm 1/4-inch extension cable connects your guitar or bass output to the transmitter while the holster keeps the transmitter mounted on your strap.
Will it help with active pickups, piezo systems, or acoustic pickups?
It can help when unwanted high-pitched noise or interference is caused by the wireless transmitter sitting too close to the instrument’s electronics. Moving the transmitter onto the strap creates more physical distance between them. The Air-Pocket does not reduce a hot instrument signal or prevent input clipping. If an active, piezo, or high-output instrument is overloading the wireless input, SonikSphere NEO includes a built-in -10dB PAD for that purpose.
Can the Air-Pocket help with recessed or awkward output jacks?
Yes. Because the transmitter stays on your strap and connects through the included extension cable, the Air-Pocket can be useful when a recessed, crowded, angled, or acoustic endpin jack makes it awkward to plug a wireless transmitter directly into the instrument.
Should I choose the straight or right-angle cable version?
Choose the version that best matches your instrument’s output jack. Straight plugs usually work well for side-mounted or recessed jacks. Right-angle plugs are often better when you want the cable to sit flatter against the instrument body or reduce cable stick-out.
