Guitar, Bass & Banjo Zero-Gravity Strap FAQ
Which CFG strap should I choose?
Choose ZERO-G Pro for the most upgraded 3.5 inch comfort strap, stronger materials, and lifetime warranty. Choose the regular Zero-Gravity Strap for classic 3.5 inch comfort with more color options. Choose Zero-Gravity Slim for a lower-bulk 2.5 inch feel.
Which strap is best for a heavy guitar or bass?
For heavier instruments, start with ZERO-G Pro or the regular Zero-Gravity Strap. Both use a wider 3.5 inch shoulder pad to help spread weight. Zero-Gravity Slim is better if you want comfort with less shoulder bulk.
How do I choose the right strap size?
Measure your current strap from button-hole to button-hole while it is adjusted the way you like it. ZERO-G Pro comes in Small 39-47 inches and Large 47-63 inches. Gen-1 comes in Small 42-48 inches and Large 49-63 inches. Slim comes in Small 42-49 inches and Long 50-66 inches.
Do CFG Zero-Gravity straps work with bass and acoustic guitars?
Yes. The guitar and bass Zero-Gravity straps are made for electric guitars, bass guitars, and many acoustic setups. Each model includes a headstock lace adapter for acoustics without a front strap button.
Do you make a Zero-Gravity strap for banjo?
Yes. The dedicated Zero-Gravity Banjo Strap is made for banjo setups and adjusts from 52-68 inches.
Should I use StrapSure or silicone strap locks?
Use StrapSure if you want a metal quick-release strap lock system with replacement strap buttons. Use silicone strap locks if you want a simple tool-free washer-style option that fits over most existing strap buttons.
Is StrapSure safe for every guitar?
No. StrapSure is not for guitars where the rear strap button is also an acoustic-electric output jack or any non-removable pin. For those setups, silicone strap locks are usually the safer simple option.
What warranty do CFG straps include?
ZERO-G Pro includes a lifetime warranty against defects. The regular Zero-Gravity Strap, Zero-Gravity Slim, Zero-Gravity Banjo Strap, StrapSure locks, and silicone strap locks include CFG’s standard 2-year warranty.
Can I return or exchange a CFG strap?
Yes. CFG offers 30-day returns or exchanges, with free prepaid returns for eligible US orders.
