Want cable-like 5.8GHz wireless with longer battery life and better control for hotter instruments?
SonikSphere NEO is CFG’s second-generation 5.8GHz wireless guitar and bass system, built for players who want clean 24-bit/48kHz audio, under 2.5ms latency, over 10 hours of battery life, and a built-in -10dB PAD for active, piezo, and high-output instruments.
It keeps the cable-like SonikSphere sound, then adds 6 color-coded channels, visual battery bars on both units, and black-transmitter/silver-receiver identification for quicker setup on stage. Plug the transmitter into your instrument, plug the receiver into your amp or pedalboard, choose your channel, and play.

Why choose SonikSphere NEO?
- 5.8GHz wireless: Runs outside the crowded 2.4GHz space used by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and plenty of everyday gear.
- Cable-like sound: 24-bit/48kHz digital audio with a wide 10Hz-22kHz frequency response.
- Built-in -10dB PAD: Helps prevent clipping from active, piezo, and high-output instruments.
- Fast playing feel: Under 2.5ms latency keeps the response tight and natural.
- Over 10 hours per charge: Built for long rehearsals, gigs, and practice sessions.
- Clear stage control: 6 color-coded channels, visual battery bars on both units, and easy black TX/silver RX identification.
Who should choose SonikSphere NEO?
SonikSphere NEO is a strong fit for guitarists and bassists who want cable-like 5.8GHz wireless sound, longer battery life, and better control over active, piezo, or high-output instruments.
It is made for gigs, jam sessions, rehearsals, worship stages, clubs, and other setups where cables get in the way, while also working well for home practice and recording. It gives you a simple instrument-to-amp or instrument-to-pedalboard connection without using the crowded 2.4GHz lane.
- Electric guitar and bass players: Built for standard 1/4-inch instrument outputs and inputs.
- Active and piezo instruments: The built-in -10dB PAD helps lower hotter input signals before they overload the wireless input.
- Long rehearsals and gigs: Over 10 hours of battery life gives you more breathing room between charges.
- Players who prefer 5.8GHz: Runs outside the crowded 2.4GHz space commonly used by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other everyday gear.
- Multi-player setups: 6 color-coded channels help keep multiple NEO systems organized in the same room.
- Dark or busy stages: The black transmitter and silver receiver are easy to tell apart at a glance.
How does SonikSphere NEO sound compared to a guitar cable?
SonikSphere NEO is built to preserve the natural character of your guitar or bass, with a frequency response designed to stay remarkably close to a traditional instrument cable.
In plain English, you keep the familiar feel and tone of your instrument while removing the cable from the equation.

How do SonikSphere NEO’s channels and -10dB PAD work?
SonikSphere NEO keeps the controls simple: choose one of 6 color-coded channels on the transmitter, and use the -10dB PAD only when an active, piezo, or high-output instrument is hitting the wireless input too hard.
The receiver follows the transmitter’s channel color after pairing. Battery bars on both units show how much charge remains, while the PAD indicator light confirms when the input level has been reduced.
How do I switch wireless channels?
Use the Action Oval button on the transmitter to cycle through the 6 channel colors: red, green, blue, yellow, purple, and cyan.
The receiver follows the transmitter’s selected color after the pair is connected. When using multiple NEO systems in the same room, set each pair to a different channel color.

When should I turn on the -10dB PAD?
Turn on the -10dB PAD if an active, piezo, or high-output instrument sounds overloaded, harsh, or digitally distorted through the wireless system.
The PAD lowers the transmitter’s input level by 10dB before the signal is processed. It is not a tone control and it does not boost quiet instruments.
- Start with the PAD off: This is the normal setting for most passive guitars and basses.
- Turn the PAD on if the signal clips: This may help with active pickups, piezo systems, and other hotter outputs.
- Check the PAD indicator: The light confirms when the -10dB setting is active.
