Can a guitar strap make a heavy guitar or bass feel lighter?

Yes. ZERO-G Pro is built to spread the weight of your guitar or bass across a wider, cushioned shoulder area, helping reduce shoulder, neck, and back pressure during long gigs, rehearsals, worship sets, and practice sessions.

It does not change the actual weight of your instrument, no magic beans here. It changes how that weight feels on your body, using a 3.5 inch raised 3D air-cell pad, supportive neoprene padding, durable 8 oz cotton canvas, upgraded strap ends, and strong acetal hardware.

Why heavy guitars and basses feel better with ZERO-G Pro

Built to reduce shoulder pressure during long sets

Heavy guitars and basses can dig into one painful spot on your shoulder, especially when you stand for a full gig, rehearsal, worship set, or long practice session. ZERO-G Pro uses a wider 3.5 inch shoulder pad with raised 3D air-cell cushioning to spread the load, improve airflow, and help your instrument feel easier to wear for longer.

Strong enough for heavy guitars, basses, and real stage use

ZERO-G Pro is made for players who need comfort without babying the strap. The build is reinforced for heavier instruments, regular gigging, long rehearsals, and daily use.

  • Upgraded strap ends: double-layer microfiber PU with reinforced stitching for a stronger connection point.
  • Durable hardware: acetal POM Duraflex sliders and buckles built to hold steady.
  • Premium top: strong 8 oz wear-resistant cotton canvas.
  • Webbing: 1.5 mm cotton-blend webbing that holds its shape.
  • Strength: tensile-tested to 110 lb / 50 kg.

Will ZERO-G Pro fit my guitar or bass?

Yes. ZERO-G Pro fits most electric guitars, basses, baritones, hollow-body guitars, acoustic guitars with standard strap buttons, and acoustic-electric end-pin jacks. It also works with most common strap-lock systems, and silicone strap holders are included.

Which ZERO-G Pro size should I choose?

ZERO-G Pro strap size guide

ZERO-G Pro comes in two size ranges because the padded shoulder section is fixed and cannot slide like regular webbing. That fixed comfort pad is what gives the strap its support, but it also means one strap cannot cover every possible playing length.

To choose the right size, measure your current strap setup from pinhole to pinhole while wearing your guitar or bass at your normal playing height. Then choose the ZERO-G Pro size that includes that measurement.

Small: 39 to 47 inches (99-119 cm)
Large: 47 to 63 inches (119-160 cm)

There is no “higher players use large” or “lower players use small” rule. Measure your current comfortable setup, match the range, and you’re golden.

ZERO-G Pro FAQ

Can ZERO-G Pro help with shoulder, neck, or back pressure from a heavy guitar or bass?

ZERO-G Pro is built to spread your instrument’s weight across a wider 3.5 inch padded shoulder area. The raised 3D air-cell pad helps reduce pressure points, so heavy guitars and basses can feel easier to wear during long gigs, rehearsals, worship sets, and practice sessions.

Does ZERO-G Pro actually make my guitar or bass lighter?

No. It does not change the real weight of your instrument. It changes how that weight sits on your body by spreading pressure across a wider, cushioned shoulder area. Less “knife on the shoulder,” more “okay, I can finish the set.”

Is ZERO-G Pro good for bass players?

Yes. ZERO-G Pro is made for guitar and bass players, including players with heavier instruments. The wide padded section, raised air-cell cushioning, reinforced strap ends, and durable hardware make it a strong choice for long playing sessions.

What makes ZERO-G Pro different from a regular padded guitar strap?

Most padded straps simply add softness. ZERO-G Pro uses a 3.5 inch raised 3D air-cell pad to spread pressure, add airflow, and help reduce hot spots on your shoulder. It also uses an 8 oz cotton canvas top, upgraded microfiber PU strap ends, and acetal POM Duraflex hardware.

Which ZERO-G Pro size should I choose?

Measure your current strap setup from pinhole to pinhole while wearing your guitar or bass at your normal playing height. Then choose the ZERO-G Pro size that includes that measurement. Small adjusts from 39 to 47 inches. Large adjusts from 47 to 63 inches.

Does ZERO-G Pro fit acoustic guitars?

Yes. It fits standard strap buttons and acoustic end-pin jacks, and includes a headstock lace for acoustic guitars that need one.

Does ZERO-G Pro work with strap locks?

Yes. ZERO-G Pro works with most common strap-lock systems. Silicone strap holders are also included in the box.

Is ZERO-G Pro vegan?

Yes. The strap ends are upgraded microfiber PU, with no animal leather.

How does ZERO-G Pro handle sweat and heat?

The raised air-cell pad helps airflow under the strap, while the supportive neoprene padding helps reduce moisture buildup compared with flat padding.

What warranty does ZERO-G Pro include?

ZERO-G Pro includes a lifetime warranty against defects, plus 30-day returns.

How do I clean ZERO-G Pro?

Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it air-dry. Avoid harsh solvents.
